All About the Chakras

Chakra is a sanskrit word meaning “wheel” or “cycle” or “vortex”. Either way there is a revolution of movement in our bodies. Chakras are energy systems in our body. Many people disagree about the number of chakras in our body. However, most do agree about the seven classical chakras that start at the base of your spine, the root chakra, and go all the way up to 12 inches above your head, the crown chakra. They each have a distinct color of energetic frequency and they correspond with systems in our bodies. Healing and balancing chakras is essential to our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.

Death Is Not the End…

Energy cannot be created or destroyed. It simply transforms. Humans are made up of both a physical form and spirit. The physical human has a story that begins on their birthdate, but their spirit has no beginning or end. When our human form dies, our soul goes back home. It’s the place across the veil where there is nothing but unconditional love. We return to the source that made us. Our life here on Earth is a limited existence. Knowing this fact will allow each of us to make the most of everyday. When the soul leaves Earth it returns to Source/God/Spirit. The beautiful part is that we all have the ability to connect with them by accessing our higher consciousness, opeing our heart chakra and learning something that goes beyond what we have been taught. To be able to connect with those on the other side is an ineffable experience and one I wish all could experience at least once in their lifetime.
